1. Introduction

Welcome to Gotilo ("we", "us", "our").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website www.gotilo.co.uk (the "Platform"), including all related services (user accounts, listings, offers, deals, events, jobs, posts, and other features).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. User Accounts & Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to register.
  • You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information.

User types include:

  • Standard Users
  • Vendors
  • Editors
  • Administrators

Your account must be used only by you and cannot be shared.

3. Platform Use

  • You may browse Services, Offers, Deals, Jobs, and Events.
  • Standard and Vendor users may create content (posts, services, offers) according to platform rules.

Wrongful conduct (spam, abusive language, unlawful activity) is prohibited.

4. Listings, Claims & Fees

Listings

  • Listings can be created by Editors and Vendors.
  • Listings must be accurate and lawful.

Claim Listing Feature

  • Vendors may request to claim an existing listing.
  • A £10 claim fee (GBP) applies and must be paid (bank transfer or other methods as available).
  • Claim requests are reviewed by Admin.

Upon approval:

  • Listing ownership transfers to the Vendor.
  • Listing is marked Gotilo Verified.
  • Vendor receives direct leads and management access.

Gotilo reserves the right to modify claim fees at any time.

5. Content & Conduct

When posting content:

  • You grant Gotilo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and display your content.
  • Do not post illegal, offensive, defamatory, false, or harmful content.
  • Third-party materials must be used in compliance with copyrights.

6. Karma Points & Engagement

Karma points, badges, and related features are engagement mechanics and do not represent financial value nor transferable assets.

7. Payments

  • Payments (if applicable) are processed through third-party partners. Gotilo does not store your financial details for unpaid/paid plans.
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

8. Termination

Gotilo reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account or access for violation of these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

  • Services and content are provided "as is" without warranty.
  • Gotilo does not guarantee business results, accuracy of listings, or completeness of third-party information.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gotilo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts.

12. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms periodically.
  • We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notification.
